Davis Business Solutions and CFESA (Commerical Food Equipment Service Assocation) have been working together to develop a website that works closely with CFESA members to eliminate overhead within each company. The name for the software database is called CFESA Global Trade.
Since December 1st, 2009, CFESA Global Trade has been live. CFESA members are now about to upload OEM parts, inventory, including obsolete overstocks. CFESA Global Trade users are then able to use the powerful inventory search engines to locate hard to find parts. CFESA Global Trade members may utilize the Global Trade database on their own website, for pass through part sales to their customers. This give them the opportunity for sales of ten of thousands of part sales without having to stock them.
Today CFESA Global Trade has 49 members and growing. The total parts volume listed includes over 3140 parts and 1347 manufacturers are represented in member postings.
It is a big opportunity for the CFESA community.
