The Entry of a Service Agreement Number Can Be Required When Entering a New Service Order

A Dispatch system parameter exists to GlobalEdge that can make the Service Agreement field in Service Order Entry (Summary Tab) a required entry upon creation of a new Service Order (if an active Service Agreement exists in the Customer Master File).

As with all system parameters, this "switch" can be found under DBS Tools - DBS Maintenance - System Parameters. The Function Name is DS-2-2 with a Description of "SOSaRequired".





If this value is set to "Yes" (True) an entry into the Service Agreement field in Service Order Entry will be required if the customer has an active Service Agreement on file in the system.
