Customer Account Manager Can Now Be a Required Field

A new system parameter has been added to GlobalEdge that can make the Account Manager field in Customer Master Defaults Tab a required entry upon creation of a new customer or the editing of an existing customer.

As with all system parameters, this "switch" can be found under DBS Tools - DBS Maintenance - System Parameters. The Function Name is CU-3-3 with a Description of "AllowBlankForAcctMgr".





If this parameter value is set to TRUE, the system will not require an entry into the Account Manager field in the Customer Master Default tab. If this parameter is set to FALSE, the system will require an entry in this field. The default value upon initial setup is FALSE.

***For security reasons, system parameter access and setup should be limited to your system administrator.
